Split 9th Circ. Orders New Sentence Over Lack Of Interpreter

A divided Ninth Circuit on Tuesday ordered a lower court to resentence a man caught at the U.S.-Mexico border with 130 pounds of marijuana stashed in a truck, ruling the limited-English speaker was deprived of his right to an interpreter during a sentencing hearing.
